An orphan that had lost both his parents to a plague when he was 12 years old and his only brother, Reks had died during the Archadian Invasion of Dalmasca. He makes his living by running various errands for Migelo and stealing from the Archadian soldiers, which he claim that it belong to Dalmasca. He is cheerful, carefree and energetic among his many young orphans friends throughout Rabanastre, who consider him as a leader. Vaan dreams of becoming a sky pirate and an airship of his own.
